The popular anthology will be released on Netflix in the spring of 2026
Netflix has announced the premiere date for the second season of the anthology series “Beef”. According to the announcement, the second season will debut on streaming on April 16, 2026.
The new season, which Netflix announced production back in October 2025, will feature a completely new story and cast. It will consist of eight 30-minute episodes. The film stars 2026 Golden Globe nominee Oscar Isaac, Oscar nominee Carey Mulligan, and rising stars Charles Melton and Cailee Spaeny.
The plot of the second season of “Beef”, as previously reported, will unfold in the elite world of a country club. A young couple witnesses a shocking fight between their boss and his wife. This observation sets off a dangerous chain of events, a subtle game of give-and-take and blackmail, in the center of which the club’s owner, a Korean billionaire, will find himself.
The first season of Beef, starring Steven Yang and Ali Wong, was released in 2023 and created a sensation. The project, based on the personal experiences of series creator Lee Sung-jin, has amassed an impressive collection of awards, including an Emmy, Critics Choice, Golden Globe, and Producers, Writers and Actors Guild Awards.
Lee Sung Jin returns as showrunner and executive producer, a duties he will share with Steven Yang, Ali Wong and Jake Schreyer. Production, as before, is handled by studio A24.
