Analytics company Wave Matrix has released its year-end results and named the teaser for “The Devil Wears Prada” sequel the most popular in 2025. The video, which debuted in mid-November, managed to gather 181.5 million views across all social media platforms.
This is also the most in-demand trailer for a comedy film in the last 15 years. The sequel features Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, Stanley Tucci, and other actors. The film’s international release is scheduled for May 1, 2026.
The top ten most popular trailers of the year also included videos for “Moana,” “Lilo & Stitch,” “Fantastic Four,” “Toy Story 5,” and other films.
