Idris Elba, star of the series “Luther” and “The Wire,” has been knighted by King Charles III of the United Kingdom. The actor received the honorary title for his contributions to social work with youth and crime prevention.
Elba founded the Elba Hope Foundation charity together with his wife Sabrina. The organization focuses on supporting young people and crime prevention.
In January, the second season of the series “Hijack” starring Idris Elba will premiere on Apple TV+.
