Ti West (Maxxxine) will direct a fresh adaptation of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. Johnny Depp steps into the role of Ebenezer Scrooge with Andrea Riseborough in a pivotal supporting part, while Legion creator Nathaniel Halpern handles the script.
The film is targeting a November 13, 2026 release. Another take on the classic is also in development from Robert Eggers, who reportedly wants Willem Dafoe for his version — so the race for Scrooge is officially on.
