Sony Pictures has put a new Men in Black film into development. According to Deadline, the studio is taking another step toward reviving the franchise by hiring Chris Bremner — who worked with Sony on the recent “Bad Boys” films — to write the script.
Story details are being kept under wraps, but sources say Bremner plans to complete a draft and then show it to Will Smith in hopes of bringing him back as Agent J. It is not yet clear how big his role might be in the new film or whether other characters from the original trilogy are expected to return.
