Stephen Graham May Star in Heat Sequel

British actor Stephen Graham has been offered a role in the sequel to the crime thriller “Heat.” The potential casting was reported by Nexus Point News.

According to rumors, Graham may play the role of a young Neil McCauley, who was portrayed by Robert De Niro in the original 1995 film. Leonardo DiCaprio, who will also play one of the key roles, previously joined the sequel.

“Heat 2” will take place both before and after the events of the first film. Michael Mann, the creator of the original film, will return to direct. Filming is scheduled for 2026.

Stephen Graham is known for his roles in the miniseries “Adolescence,” for which he won an Emmy Award and was nominated for a Golden Globe, as well as in films such as “Snatch” and “Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere”
