Xavier Dolan Announces New Project Filming

Canadian director Xavier Dolan, known for films such as “It’s Only the End of the World” and “Mommy,” shared a photo of a new script on social media. The director plans to begin filming an untitled film in fall 2026.

Earlier, Dolan clarified that the project would be “genre-based.” According to media reports, the plot will unfold in the literary circles of 1890s Paris, promising an interesting historical drama with elements of genre cinema.

Dolan’s last feature film, the drama “Matthias & Maxime,” was released in 2019. After that, the director also released the miniseries “The Night Logan Woke Up,” which received positive reviews from critics.
